Ruth Torode

Ruth Torode is a recently retired senior lecturer in Social Work with long experience in teaching, supervising and examining in Social Work and related courses including Gender and Women's Studies.
She is interested in a wide range of applied social science topics and social research in these areas Her first degree was in Modern Languages and she has maintained an interest in most forms of creative writing.
Experienced as a social worker, counsellor, tutor, course coordinator and college contact person and have provided rewarding opportunities to help students achieve their academic potential.
